When I publicly declared, “I’m going to tell everyone.”

When I publicly declared, “I’m going to tell everyone about God,” I wasn’t prepared for what would come next.

God said, “I’ve been waiting.”

Everything hit me all at once, reopening wounds that needed healing. This journey prompted me to read my morning Bible in front of the farm, reminding me that you have to change your perspective after God uproots you.

I have to take a step back and allow Him to work in me, my family, my marriage, and our farm.

Being strong and courageous often comes with ugly crying, stress over figuring out plans and options, sleepless nights, deep prayers, and feelings of hurt and frustration. It’s not easy or beautiful, but I know it’s part of the journey.

In these moments of vulnerability, I’ve learned that it’s okay to lean on others and seek support, even if my circle is very small. Surrounding myself with a few trusted individuals of faith has provided comfort and encouragement, reminding me that I’m not alone in this process.

Every tear shed and every prayer whispered brings me closer to healing and helps me understand the purpose behind the struggles. I trust that through this journey, I am being shaped into the person God intends me to be.

As I navigate these challenges, I hold on to hope and faith, knowing that the beauty of transformation often emerges from the ashes of our trials.
