Hello and Welcome to our humble Little Leaf Big Bear Farm
Thank you for visiting.
My name is Jennifer, the author. Beware, I will hurt your feelings with misspelled words and improper grammar. My husband runs our family erosion control business, while I run the family fowl farm. I love that every day, I get to hang out with the Fowl babies and play with the four dogs, look at my daughter's pet snake, and talk with the Ducks and Geese and the many other wildlife that pass through. Still not a fan of the snakes, or scorpions, but I hope our farm lessons will help you along the way. - Jennifer
We must welcome the future, remembering that soon it will be the past; and we must respect the past, remembering that it was once all that was humanly possible. George Santayana
I have had many ideas and fears about telling you about Little Leaf Big Bear, a little family farm that is healing through Homesteading, Traveling, and Fellowship, but at what point do you stop being scared and do it?
Trust in God and tell the stories...
Tell the heartbreaks, learning curves, and how your farm didn't give up.
Took my first solo Trip to Tulum. That sealed the fate of actually sharing the farm life. Traveling has became our new best friend. You can learn more about who you are and the dynamics of your family, while traveling.
Material things fade, but adventures they stay in your dreams forever.
We bought the property August 2021 and started the Fowl Farm September 2021. Our little Fowl Farm includes a two story studio. It is hidden away by nature and backroads. When it comes to adding our family and farming designs. The workload has its own timeline. Everything will get done when it gets done.
